first_imgThe Carter Family Fund donated $30,000 to Council for the Homeless, which said it will be used to “provide follow-up and support to families housed through the agency’s diversion efforts.”The Carter family has supported the nonprofit for many years and hopes their gift inspires other people to donate during Council for the Homeless’ annual luncheon Sept. 27 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington.“Council for the Homeless is very grateful for this generous gift,” Adrienne Strehlow, board president, said in a news release. “It will inspire giving at our September luncheon and expand our capacity to make sure households remain stable in their homes, once housed.”last_img read more
